Qigong (chee gong) is an ancient form of exercise that is 5,000 years old. In China, qigong is one of the secrets to living a long and healthy life. The simple movements induce a calm, meditative state that relaxes the mind, improves one’s health, and enhances the quality of life. When practiced regularly, qigong can greatly improve symptoms and the underlying cause of many disease, including heart disease, diabetes, arthritis, asthma, cancer, and many other chronic illnesses. It is also an excellent form of preventative healthcare. There are no special requirements people of all ages and backgrounds can practice qigong and enjoy the benefits.

Spring Forest Qigong (SFQ) offers simple and powerful meditations and qigong exercises. These exercises help increase self-awareness, build internal energy (qi) and develop a healthy mind, body, and spirit. These techniques also help relieve physical pain, stress, depression as well as many chronic illnesses. The origins of Daoist “Hunyuan” Qigong go back many thousands of years to an era when those who were wise were very closely connected with Nature and themselves. It is a series of authentic, slow-moving exercises that improve the health of all the internal organs through strengthen the bones and sinews of the body. Movements are based on the observations of animals and natural phenomena.
